Joey is often there before the rest arrives... and often still going when everyone else has left. What started in the student media team grew into a key role in making videos, recording in the studio and supervising students. With a huge heart for the organisation and drive that's second to none, Joey makes sure every Astrolads production hits the mark!

About Joey

Joey is what you'd call an early bird, often at the office from 07:00. He started in the student media team under the supervision of Luuk. He quickly grew into being Astrolads' go-to video maker and now plays a major role in directing the media makers as Project Owner Videos. On top of that, Joey has stayed involved with the student media team as Student Manager, where he holds final responsibility for the growth and development of the students.

Beyond all this, Joey handles voice-over recordings, on-location podcasts and live webinars from the Astrolads Studio as Media Maker Studio/Podcasts.

Is that everything? Definitely not! Joey also feels a strong sense of responsibility for the people and the workspace around him. So as Office Manager, he commits himself every day to a clean, organised and pleasant working environment.

Outside Astrolads

Aside from his close-knit family and his own video projects, Joey has another huge passion that starts with C and ends with hevrolet. He grew up among classic cars at his father's car meetings, and that hobby has fully become his own, together with his sister.

The pinnacle of this hobby shows in the build of his own Chevrolet 69, the Calimero. If you're driving around the Noordwijkerhout area on a summer day, watch out... because Joey might just go cruising past in his blue beauty, aviators on.
