Jamie started behind the camera, but quickly discovered he's also right at home in front of it. With his enthusiasm and curiosity, he's grown into a creative all-rounder within the team.

About Jamie

Jamie joined as part of the student media team. Where he started with camera and editing work, he quickly discovered that he really enjoyed doing interviews and presenting in front of the camera. When his internship ended, he felt he wasn't done learning at Astrolads yet, so he applied for another internship spot and so it happened. Jamie joined the Astrolads team as a creative intern across many productions, but only truly discovered his passion when he could step into the role of Student Supervisor. With all his experience within the student media team, he now guides the new group of students with lots of enthusiasm and energy. He teaches them not only the tricks of the trade, but also how to approach someone with courage and charisma during a shoot day. Without fear and with the biggest smile, Jamie walks up to any stranger and knows how to ask the right questions. Jamie also loves showing his creative side with a photo camera (or in post-production) as Media Maker Photography.

By now he's become a worthy addition to the creative team, playing an ever-growing role in conducting street interviews. Jamie is an incredibly eager and enthusiastic addition to our team, open to new challenges and eager to show what he can do.

Outside Astrolads

Jamie has one big passion alongside his studies and work at Astrolads: sport! Barely a day goes by where Jamie isn't busy with kettlebells, push-ups and deadlifts. For him the gym is a huge energy outlet. But of course there are also hours where he's sat on the couch with tired muscles and a tub of quark. Then he most enjoys discovering and testing the latest AI tech, experiencing the digital transformation up close.
