Jamie started behind the camera, but quickly discovered he's also right at home in front of it. With his enthusiasm and curiosity, he's grown into a creative all-rounder within the team.

About Jamie

Jamie joined as part of the student media team. While he started with camera and edit work, he quickly discovered that he got a lot of joy out of doing interviews and presenting on camera. When the internship ended, he felt he wasn't done learning at Astrolads yet, so he applied for an internship spot, and so it happened. Jamie joined the Astrolads team as Video Intern, Socials Intern and Studio/Podcast Intern. It quickly turned out that Jamie also really enjoyed taking photos, and so he gradually rolled into the role of Photography Intern too.

He's now a worthy addition to the creative team, playing an increasingly large role in conducting street interviews. He approaches every total stranger fearlessly and with the biggest smile, and knows how to ask the right questions. Jamie is an incredibly eager and enthusiastic addition to our team, open to new challenges and ready to show what he can do.

Outside Astrolads

Jamie has one big passion alongside his studies and work at Astrolads: sport! Barely a day goes by where Jamie isn't busy with kettlebells, push-ups and deadlifts. For him the gym is a huge energy outlet. But of course there are also hours where he's sat on the couch with tired muscles and a tub of quark. Then he most enjoys discovering and testing the latest AI tech, experiencing the digital transformation up close.
