Council for the Environment and Infrastructure
Advisory council for government and parliament on, among others, housing, spatial planning & environment
The Council for the Environment and Infrastructure (Rli) is the strategic advisory body for government and parliament in the broad domain of the physical living environment. The council is independent and advises, requested and unrequested, on the main lines of policy regarding the sustainable development of the living environment and infrastructure.
Our services
Like hot cakes, the advice from the Council for the Environment and Infrastructure flies off the counter. From drinking water supply to housing shortage… the council dives into every administrative theme to critically look at current policy and especially at what can be better. From local residents to policymakers, the perspective of every audience is included. To amplify the impact of this advice and ensure the content and value reaches as many people as possible, Astrolads helps with various forms of content. A great collaboration where we can really make an impact with our creative work.
Astrolads always knows how to find the balance between content / form, formal / smooth and enthusiasm / business... always a pleasure to work with!

Video
Advisory reports and gatherings summarised in in-depth aftermovies and explainers.
Not every policymaker, civil servant or administrator has the time or attention to read a complete advisory report. To still ensure that Rli's advice reaches as many people from the audience as possible, we therefore make short explainer videos with the core of the problem and the corresponding advice. Based on the advice we make a video script, record a greenscreen video, and get to work with animations and reinforcing illustrations. This way we ensure that someone with just 3 minutes can also take in the valuable content of an Rli advice.
Webinars
Live broadcasts for policymakers throughout the Netherlands.
The Council for the Environment and Infrastructure always organises a public meeting when wrapping up an advice. A joint moment where interested parties come together to discuss the content. Because a physical event isn't always the most efficient, accessible and/or sustainable solution, the Rli is now also setting this up via a livestream. From the Astrolads Studio, multiple panel guests join, viewers ask substantive questions and participants jointly watch videos about the theme. From Astrolads we provide the Studio, styling, technology, videos, viewer questions and more.
