CHARGING IN EUROPE
AMSTERDAM/LYON – The next couple of years more and more people will be driving an electric car in Europe. There needs to be a steady charging infrastructure that can facilitate this growth. To roll out a charging infrastructure on a European scale, you need many different organizations and governments working together. What are the challenges? (Video Language: EN)
On our trip, we learned about projects like evRoaming4EU and OCPI. Once in Lyon, we visited the EVS32, the largest symposium on electric mobility in the world, to talk with tons of experts about our experiences.
Problems and solutions
Once we arrived, we joined our fellow Dutchies at the Holland pavillion, a place filled with the biggest Dutch players when it comes to electric mobility. We interviewed people from all over the world to find solutions for the problems we encountered. People from companies like Aleggo, Renault, Elaad, ENIO and many others helped us alongside governments and EV-drivers. All striving for the most efficient way of rolling out the perfect charging infrastructure on a European scale.
Is it possible to go on a holiday in France with an electric car?
Start the conversation
Together with NKL, The Netherlands Knowledge Platform for Charging Infrastructure, we looked at the current situation and found a way to communicate all of our learnings to the EV-Driver and the industry at the same time. We made multiple videos that led to a complete mini-documentary of our trip! What we aim for with this project, is to inspire the industry, evoke conversation and start collaborations.
ALTERNATIVE CHARGING SOLUTIONS
‘S-Hertogenbosch – On the 28th of November 2019, visitors of the NKL seminar Alternative Charging Solutions were inspired to look at charging infrastructure in a new way. Andersladen.nl offers a platform for pioneers that want to start working with alternatives for the regular charging stations. (Video Language: NL)
Alternative charging solutions
Besides inspiring, informing and creating charging-solutions, the NKL seminar also revealed their new NKL Alternative Charging Solutions Guide. In this guide are tips & tricks for municipalities on how to rollout an alternative charging solution. What are the do’s and don’ts?
Flip, Think, Charge!
After a lot of speakers, it was time for a game! But not just any game, a serious game about the rollout of charging infrastructure. In this game, you discover what parties are involved and work together to realize a strong charging infrastructure in municipalities and what problems they ran into.
Our goal with this project is to stimulate collaborations when it comes to realizing alternative charging solutions concepts.
Do you have a cool project to which we can contribute?
